Presiding over a wedding is a sacred act.
As your wedding officiant, I will stand with you and affirm your love in a private ceremony or in front of your beloved community. I take this job very seriously and will put my heart and soul into creating the ceremony of your dreams.
Your ceremony can be steeped in your personal religious traditions or completely non religious, it’s up to you. I am not affiliated with any specific religious doctrine. I’m ecumenical and believe that everyone has the right to practice whatever religion they choose, or no religion at all.
I earned my Doctorate Degree and wrote my dissertation on the positive effects of ceremonies within relationships. My research found that when couples have weddings, they are more likely to stay together longer, be happier and have more social support. Most of the couples I marry come from different religious backgrounds. I create ceremonies that express the background of both partners, regardless of faith.
During my studies at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, I learned about a wide range of religious traditions from top theologians. From Buddhism, Native American Spirituality and Christianity to Judaism, I have learned how to integrate a wide range of spiritual practices into customized, deeply meaningful wedding ceremonies. Over the course of twenty years of serving as a wedding officiant I have performed over 350 weddings, always offering reliable, calm services.
